This incarnation of Mountain were at their peak when they recorded this. The first side is studio songs - all great but especially Crossroader, which they'd play live for years. The whole of the second side is recorded live at the Fillmore East and encapsulates everything they were about - big riffs and a driving beat. The version of Dreams of Milk and Honey and the jam that follows on from it, is a thrilling riff-a-thon.
Supposedly this is worth £15-20 but you see copies all the time in great condition for £5 or less. If you've not bought any Mountain albums, this is a great one to start with.
