Pat Travers - Crash and Burn

Pat Travers - Crash and Burn

I could recommend any number of Pat Travers records - the debut album is excellent (I saw him on his first UK tour in 1976 supporting SAHB) but I went for this one because it has Snortin' Whiskey, Drinkin' Cocaine' on it which is probably his finest riff. He also does a fine version of Born Under A Bad Sign on this too.

By now Pat Thrall was in the band and he really expanded their sound and threw in a big handful of virtuoso guitar.

All PT albums are in the £1 bin, but that doesn't mean they're not worth buying. You could probably get his whole output for £10. You should.
