Robin Trower - It's For You

As a record collector, one of the great joys is finding rare records and this is quite rare, but it doesn't have much value, despite this. Many times you find that's the case - some artists are not collected and their work commands low prices as a result.Robin Trower is one of these, it seems. However, in some ways, that makes finding items like this allthe more enjoyable. I bet this sold in justthe hundreds, so you end up with a properly rare record, but don't have to pay big money for it.

This EP dates from 1978 and the tracks are culled from the In City Dreams album. I love Robin Trower's work - all of it - and was delighted to get this at a car boot for 5p. The fact it's on red vinyl just makes it all the sweeter. Better still, it's great music.
