The Who - Tommy is a legendary multi-million selling record. It was pressed many times over, however, this is a very rare first pressing.
How do I know? This is how: it has the fold-out, laminated sleeve, printed by E.J. Day. It also has A1/B1 matrixes, double album on labels and has no catalogue number under ST3. It comes with a numbered 12 page booklet.
If you can tick all of those boxes then you've got a first pressing and it worth £150 in mint condition. My copy is probably worth half of that in this condition.
If your copy is a matt finish with all of the above and an unnumbered booklet, then that's a 2nd pressing and is worth about £40
