I think they were super important and are usually overlooked in that they laid the pathway for jam bands. This was the end of the line for the band, recorded after they got back together in 1973 with the genius of Al Kooper at a time when gigs in Central Park were quite common and attracted thousands. A double album, my copy is American and I suspect it didn’t get a UK release. Features most of their classics like I Can’t Keep From Cryin’, Sometimes’, Wake Me, Shake Me and a 13-minute Two Trains Running.
