Stackridge, were touring to promote their album Mr. Mick. This was their final year before their original mid-70s split.
Roogalator were an American-led R&B/Pub Rock outfit fronted by Danny Adler. They were widely considered "the next big thing" in London at the time, having just supported Dr. Feelgood at the Hammersmith Odeon earlier that year. They weren't despite a lot of hype.
