About the Product
A one-off album project composed, arranged and conducted by Mort Garson in 1967. The album was based on the signs of Zodiac, with psychedelic rock music featuring electronics from Paul Beaver (of Beaver and Krause fame) and Cyrus Faryar as narrator. This attempt at psychsploitation, as it is sometimes called, was one of many in the late 60s as straight producers attempted to get groovy baby. Drummer Hal Blaine played on it, as did bassist Carol Kaye. Elektra’s Jac Holzman was involved in this, the sleeve was designed by artist Abe Gurvin and I absolutely love it.
