The Byrds - Mr Tambourine Man

The Byrds - Mr Tambourine Man

Released in 1965, the cover of this record perfectly expresses that year. The fish eye lens invests it with a hint of the coming psychedelic era and the lads in the band just look the wrong side of respectable, with McGuinn looking especially freaky.

All the early Byrds records are collectible in their original pressings - in mono but especially in stereo. My copy is a stereo one, the rarer version. A mint copy on orange CBS would set you back £45 but mine is probably worth half of that in this condition.

A lovely record, a nice collectible and one of the most influential albums of all time.
