A B Skhy T-Shirt

Formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1968, originally under the name New Blues. They later relocated to the San Francisco area, which was the epicentre of psychedelic music and changed their name to A.B. Skhy.

Their sound was a blend of Electric Blues, Psychedelic Rock, and Acid Rock fitting into the hard-rocking, blues-based scene of the era.

An early member was keyboardist Howard Wales, a jazz-rock session musician who went on to collaborate extensively with Jerry Garcia and played on the Grateful Dead's classic album American Beauty.
