Scott replaced Dave Evans as the lead singer of AC/DC on 24 October 1974, when it became obvious the band and Evans were heading in different directions, with Evans having personal clashes with band members and management. With the Young brothers as lead and rhythm guitarists, session drummer Tony Currenti (see AC/DC line-ups) and George Young as a temporary bassist, AC/DC released High Voltage, their first LP in Australia in February 1975. Within a few months Currenti was replaced by Phil Rudd and Mark Evans was hired as a permanent bassist, and AC/DC began recording their second album T.N.T., which was released in Australia in December 1975. The first AC/DC album to gain international distribution however was a compilation of tracks from the first two albums, also entitled High Voltage, which was released in May 1976. Another studio album, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap was released in the same year, but only in Australia; the international version of the album was released in November 1976 in the UK and in March 1981 in the US, with a different track listing. In the following years, AC/DC gained further success with their albums Let There Be Rock and Powerage. The 1978 release of Powerage marked the debut of bassist Cliff Williams (who had replaced Mark Evans), and with its harder riffs, followed the blueprint set by Let There Be Rock. The album was the last produced by Harry Vanda and George Young with Bon Scott on vocals and is claimed to be AC/DC's most under-rated album. Only one single was released from Powerage – "Rock 'n' Roll Damnation" – which gave AC/DC their highest chart position at the time, reaching #24. An appearance at the Apollo Theatre in Glasgow during the Powerage tour was recorded and released as If You Want Blood You've Got It. The band's sixth album, Highway To Hell, was produced by Robert "Mutt" Lange and was released in 1979. It became AC/DC's first LP to break the US top 100, eventually reaching #17, and it propelled AC/DC into the top ranks of hard rock acts

Returns & Exchanges
Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please use this form to instigate any return or exchange.
When returning an item it must arrive with us in it’s original condition and packaging. Obviously we allow you to try on your new shirt to ensure the size is right, but wearing it down the pub on a Friday night with the lads, getting it covered in Guinness and curry and then returning it for a different colour on Monday, well I’m afraid we just aren’t that generous!
If your item is in any way faulty then please contact us immediately and we will put it right. For clarity, faulty does not include beer and curry stains. If you would like to return your order for any other reason then please feel free to get in touch and we will do everything we can to ensure your request is dealt with quickly and efficiently.
When making a return, please place a copy of your invoice with the returned item and detail any information such as the reason for the return and any exchange requests such as size and colour. It is very difficult to track any returned items without the invoice as this contains all original order numbers and information.
All returns or exchanges should be sent to:
DJTEES Unit 24, Emerald Way, Stone, Staffordshire, ST15 0SR, UK
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If a refund is required it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, this normally takes around 3 days.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
If you are returning an item for exchange, such as size or colour then you will have to ensure that you cover the cost of the postage back to us. If, however, your item is faulty in any way then we are happy to cover the cost of the return.
