It was a big year for Iron Butterfly. They had released their debut Heavy' in January and the seminal In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida in June. Canned Heat had released their second and third records. The Youngbloods were two albums in. All bands were no more than 2 years old and this was an early Fillmore East show.
