Jeff Baxter wasn’t exactly the most likely candidate to be become a defense consultant, advising U.S. members of Congress on missile defense, as well as being in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. He was a big session guy before being in Steely Dan and the Doobies. And fans of obscure bands will also know him from the last Ultimate Spinach album in 1969.
