About the Product

Created from an advert in Helix underground newspaper from 1967-70, based in Seattle, produced by members of the Underground Press Syndicate and the Liberation News Service,

Kaleidoscope was an American psychedelic folk group who recorded four albums and several singles for Epic Records between 1966 and 1970. 'Side Trips' was their debut album and featured the late great David Lindley, a man who was one of rock's most influential guitarists.

They were an eclectic group and brought in all sorts of influences and would play long drawn out numbers. Lindley would play his guitar with a bow, and the band were one of Jimmy Page's favourites so presumably that inspired the Zeppelin man to do likewise.

One of those bands whose influence was greater than their record sales.
