About the Product

Bridge of Sighs is the second solo album Robin Trower. It was released in 1974 and was a breakthrough record for him. Songs from this album, such as "Bridge of Sighs", "Too Rolling Stoned", "Day of the Eagle" and "Little Bit of Sympathy", have become live concert staples for Trower and are epic workouts from a Stratocaster master.
The album was produced by organist Matthew Fisher, formerly Trower's bandmate in Procol Harum. Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick was the sound engineer.
It reached #7 in the United States during a chart stay of 31 weeks. Amazingly it didn't chart in UK. What was wrong with us? It is a genius of a record full of lush textures and wonderful vocals from Jimmy Dewar who could have sung the telephone directory and made it sound like love ballad. One of my top 10 records of all-time
