When they played this gig, The Strawbs were about to release their ‘Deep Cuts’ album in October 1976 but the band were becoming less popular, despite three years earlier having a #2 hit album with ‘Bursting At The Seams’. It didn’t chart in UK and just made #144 in the USA. Within a couple of years they’d take an extended hiatus into the 1990s.
