This was their 1975 release but they date back to 1967 when Bill Champlin first formed the group. They were regular performers at all the legendary San Francisco venues and flirted with the charts, having five albums on the Billboard 200 but none higher than #137.
By the time they made this record they had evolved away from their psychedelic rock sound to a more jazz influenced groove. Indeed, Bill went on to play with jazz-rockers Chicago.
They finally split up for good in 1977 but left a great legacy,
